Focus on: Alberta is Calling: Moving Bonus

This program is part of the Alberta is Calling campaign which aims to attract skilled trade workers to fill critical labour shortages.

The Moving Bonus provides a one-time refundable tax credit of $5,000 for eligible individuals who move to Alberta between May 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024, reside in Alberta for at least one year, work in an eligible occupation and meet all other eligibility criteria. This payment will be issued via direct deposit or cheque.
